The park site is in Kaneville IL, on Harter Rd and there are 12 acres that are up for sale. We want to enter a contract that will allow us to purchase the full 12 acres over a seven-year duration. The 12 acres are an all enclosed recreational area off Leash Park. The park will have a large pond with a large beach area (3,400 sq. ft.). There will be Caretaker quarters, office space, and a garage for the parks maintenance equipment. The park is looking to be a host for:

Phase One:

  • Law enforcement K-9
  • Sled dog groups
  • Agility groups
  • Utility groups
  • Hunting training groups
  • Dog shows
  • Fund raising sight for animal rescue organizations

Phase two:

  • Cross county skiing
  • Buy more land
  • Add bike paths
  • Bike rental
  • Skate rental
  • Sidewalk café (where you can eat with your pet)

We are currently looking for volunteers to assist us with our Park. The services we need are an Architectural Engineer and a Building Designer.
